Black Student Union

The Black Student Union (BSU) at United for Success Academy was Created in August 2019. Ms. Durr enlisted the help of Ms. Nixon as the BSU secretary to recruit students and staff, plan meetings, and organize notes for BSU at United for Success Academy  Ms. Nixon wanted a space where ALL STUDENTS (Black students and Non-Black, girls and boys, mixed-age, and all grade levels) can learn about and celebrate the accomplishments of African-Americans.
